Alexis Pinturault, 11e de la première manche du géant : « Pour la médaille ça me semble très compliqué »


Alexis Pinturault a réalisé une performance remarquable en terminant 11e de la première manche du Géant de Coupe du Monde de ski alpin, à Alta Badia en Italie. Malheureusement, malgré sa belle performance, il se classe à plus de trois secondes du dernier podium.

Le skieur français a dû lutter contre des conditions difficiles et a connu des difficultés sur la deuxième partie de la piste. Des conditions qui n'ont pas permis à Pinturault de maintenir son avance après un départ très prometteur. Avec un total de 3,02 secondes de retard sur le vainqueur de la manche, la victoire appartient à Aleksander Aamodt Kilde de la Norvège.

Pinturault a déclaré après la course: «Je suis très content des temps les plus rapides que j'ai réalisés aujourd'hui, mais je pense que pour obtenir une médaille, il va falloir que je fasse quelque chose d'extraordinaire.» Malgré ce résultat, le skieur français doit encore se battre pour la médaille, car le Géant est une course qui se déroule en deux manches.

Si Pinturault parvient à améliorer sa performance lors de la deuxième manche, il a encore une chance de remporter le podium.
